The website is an interactive site that allows customers and potential customers to easily instant message with a professional, schedule an appointment, or research a pest in the pest ID library. The facebook page is a community oriented conversation to help Hampton Roads residents post photos or videos of insects and pests that they find as well as interact with A-Active professionals.

Both the website and facebook page have unique features that allow for customer interaction and engagement. The prominent feature of the website is the "Schedule an Appointment" link on the homepage which gives current and new customers the ability to choose a service date and time that will be confirmed by A-Active's Customer Service staff. Additionally, customers can also log into their account to see service history and even schedule additional service. The facebook page encourages fans to upload images or videos of pests they want identified or entered in the "Ugly Bug" contest which has monthly winners of $100 and quarterly winners of ipads.
